Crane and Klarik are nominated for the fourth year in a row for penning their series. Forte and Soloway are here for writing their shows’ pilots. Berg is back again for his show’s season finale, and Blackwell, Iannucci, and Roche return after being honored last year for collaborating on an episode of their HBO series. C.K. is nominated for the fifth year in a row, and he has won twice, mostly recently last year.
What should win: Anything but “The Last Man on Earth” and “Louie”
What will win: My bet is The Last Man on Earth over dependable favorite “Louie.”
