Golden Globe Nominees: Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series

My predictions: 4/5, picking Harington over Slater
Who’s missing? Kit Harington, Ben Mendelsohn, Tobias Menzies

I did pretty well here, though Globe voters did an irregularly consistent job of holding on to last year’s winners this year with the deserving likes of Christian Slater (Mr. Robot), whose shows was omitted from the Best TV Series – Drama list and who got snubbed by Emmy voters even for a nomination. A different “Game of Thrones” actor got in for the first time, so no Harington. Instead we got one actor from a new show, John Lithgow (The Crown), and three miniseries contenders: Sterling K. Brown (The People vs. OJ Simpson), Hugh Laurie (The Night Manager), and John Travolta (The People vs. OJ Simpson). I’ve only seen Slater’s performance, so I can’t comment too much here.

Who will win? I think it will be Brown just like at the Emmys.
