Contest Results

So, I have gotten in several suggestions for the name of my television awards:

Orange Abe's Accolades (suggested by Yossi)
The Abrahammys (suggested by Yossi)
The Abies (suggested by Andrew)
The Orangeabes (suggested by Nancy)

I am thankful for these responses and as a result, each of the contestants may choose a category for which I will nominate several people and/or shows and will continue or expand each year. I personally think I will head in the direction of something I myself thought up: The AFT Awards. While not daringly clever, the acronym takes on two meanings. Written out, it becomes Abe's Film and Television Awards. Straightforward, I realize, but certainly clear. The letters AFT are also my initials, so it has a fun second meaning. I am still open to other suggestions, so feel free to post them here or e-mail them to me at aft229@nyu.edu.

I will begin distributing the first annual AFT Television Awards sometime next week after completing my writing and directing Emmy predictions. Links to the awards will appear on the left with the Emmy race links, simply to keep things neat and organized. I will post in the same fashion as I posted the predictions, although in this case there will be pictures of all the nominees for each category.
