My predictions: 1/5
This category offers a few surprises. The main nonsensical inclusion is the “Subway Wars” installment of How I Met Your Mother, the first individual episodes recognized for directing or writing that is included the same year that star Neil Patrick Harris gets snubbed for the first time. I guess the “Live Show” of 30 Rock would make sense even though I didn’t find it to be the show’s most impressive installment, and it’s far better that the new hot show with three nominations is Modern Family, which earned a whopping seventeen years. I predicted “Slow Down Your Neighbors,” and I’m pleased to see “Halloween” and “See You Next Fall” included as well.
What should win? I haven’t seen the HIMYM ep, so I’d go with any of the “Modern Family” installments.
What will win? Probably “See You Next Fall.”
