SAG Predictions: Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series

Last year’s nominees: Arrested Development, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Veep

The rundown: Two of last year’s nominees are out: “Arrested Development” and “30 Rock.” Don’t assume that any of the other three are going anywhere, which means there are two slots open. While Parks and Recreation or Episodes would be perfectly terrific and deserving choices, I think that another logical choice that has been reassigned to the proper category this year, Orange is the New Black, will prevail. Other possibilities include Silicon Valley and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but I’m betting on another streaming ensemble that’s completely terrific: Transparent.
