Emmy Predictions: Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, July 13th. As always, chime in below in the comments with any thoughts of your own.

Last year’s nominees: Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Comer, Olivia Colman, Laura Linney, Sandra Oh, Zendaya

The competition: I wrote about this category for The Film Experience, and I don’t think much has changed over the past month or so. Head over there to read my analysis. I’d love to see Mj Rodriguez (Pose) make the cut, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

The predicted nominees: Aduba, Colman, Corrin, Moss, Paulson, Smollett

The predicted winner: I see this going to Corrin.
