The Closer: Season 4, Episode 8 "Split Ends" (B+)
The central case here isn't why I was happy with this episode, but rather the exciting surprise visit from Brenda's parents. I love Fritz's interaction with them, and I especially loved Brenda standing up to her parents, followed by Fritz standing up to Brenda. The promo for next week says that there are only two episodes left this season, and it's certainly been a good, impressive season, it just feels a bit short and wasn't quite as centered on specific characters as I'd like to see. Still great, though.
