Entourage: Season 5, Episode 1 "Fantasy Island" (B+)
I know that many have expressed frustration with "Entourage" over the past year, upset about its course and perhaps a decline in quality. I for one am reassured by its consistency, and even though certain story arcs might move at a slow place and proceed along a predictable course, I'm comforted by that. "Entourage" is a comedy which relies heavily on its storytelling ability to carry an episode-to-episode plotline which develops the characters extensively while still creating a grander focus for the series. Vince will continue to sulk about "Medellin" not being a success, and Ari will continue to get screwed even though it's never really his fault (except maybe for that Bob incident back in season 3, where he payed for it with his job). It's a relief to have these boys back, because things always seem a bit sunnier when they're around. I'm excited for upcoming guest star Jamie-Lynn Sigler, a.k.a. Meadow Soprano, and to see what happens when Vince becomes a central component once again in Eric's life, and his other client(s) might get just a bit jealous.
