The competition: Kevin Bacon (Taking Chance), Kenneth Branagh (Wallander: One Step Behind), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Endgame), Brendan Gleeson (Into the Storm), and Jeremy Irons (Georgia O’Keeffe).For your information: Bacon, Branagh, and Gleeson were all nominated for the Emmy this past year, and Gleeson took it home. Irons is the only Globe winner among the nominees, winning in 2006 for his work in “Elizabeth I.”
Who should win: I’ve seen none of these, sadly.
