This quirky Starz dramedy was fascinating from the start but not entirely even, and it could definitely have used a second season to develop. Unfortunately, ten precious episodes is all we’ll ever have of terrific performances from Robyn Cohen, Eric Schaeffer, and Krysten Ritter, some truly original storytelling, and a number of magnificently-created scenes exploring the lives and woes of these intoxicating characters.

You might be interested to know that this show has figured prominently on "worst of the year" lists. Of course, some of those lists might have been put together by people who watched the first few episodes and gave up after that. I heard the show got stronger as it went on.
I'm saddened to hear that. It's definitely not one of the worst shows of the year, certainly not worse than Happy Town or Outlaw, which would probably be my bottom two. It was always intriguing, and just starting to reach its potential. Highly recommended if you have five hours to kill - sadly, it's not much of a commitment.
