Legends of Tomorrow: Season 6, Episode 12 “Bored on Board Onboard” (B-)
This show always tends to go for over-the-top when just a bit outlandish will do, and what this installment did more than anything was make me nostalgic for the last time I played “One Night Ultimate Werewolf,” one of my favorite games, with a group of people, which I think was way back in February 2020 while I was attending the wedding of two friends. It wasn’t particularly nice of Constantine and everyone else to be so eager to get away from Gary when he was the only one providing them some sort of entertainment, and it wasn’t too surprising that the beast ended up being an external threat and not just one of them hiding their identity. Although that’s not exactly what it was, since Constantine has an inner beast within him that’s threatening to destroy everyone, and his body, given the remnants of that stab wound that Zari noticed back on the ship. Behrad seems most attuned to it but no one else seems to want to listen, and they’re already in dangerous enough territory with Earth being so far off and intruders on the ship. Kayla wasn’t too happy to see Mick or Gary, and even though she pretended to try to help them, she was really just using them to bring Bishop back to life. Maybe the antics he causes will convince Ava that Barry and Iris deserve an invitation to her wedding, or at least a spot on a better list, since they’re not the only ones who can attract supervillains.
