What I'm Watching: Heroes

Heroes: Season 1, Episode 22 "Landslide" (C+)

I am still highly anticipating the finale despite the fact that "Heroes" is reverting to the light-on-plot, heavy-on-superhero-mythology format it followed during the second quarter of this season when it plummeted before returning to its recent greatness. Ted going in so easily without a fight makes little sense, and the whole D.L.-Nikki-Linderman scenario is a bit far-fetched. I am also never a fan of the "Nikki/Jessica" mess being referenced. If last week's episode was the "Sylar Holiday Special," this episode is the "Hiro Comes To Terms With His Heritage" episode, recalling the days of that poorly-conceived "Suresh Comes To Terms With His Culture" hour a while back. Less of the election/Linderman business and more of the heroes teaming up to stop Sylar would make next week's finale a lot more compelling.
