Emmy Race Update: Best Drama Series

Almost no time has passed since my last guess at this category, and now Tom O'Neil over at GoldDerby has confirmed a top 10 list. My predictions were 60% correct. "Dexter" had already been announced as one of the top 10.

I correctly predicted:
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
GREY'S ANATOMY
LOST
ROME
THE SOPRANOS

I missed:
BOSTON LEGAL
HEROES
HOUSE
24

So this changes things considerably. I refuse to accept that "Boston Legal" will make it into the top 5. I will be furious and shocked if that happens. I am tempted to think that "House" or "24" may have a good shot at returning, and I have more faith in "Heroes" and "Lost". Interesting that "Deadwood" did not make the cut and "Rome" did, and "Studio 60" is out. I wonder what effect the omissions of "Deadwood" and "Studio 60" will have on the supporting players. I think Gerald McRaney and Sarah Paulson may still be safe. My ever-changing present thoughts:

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
GREY'S ANATOMY
HEROES
LOST
THE SOPRANOS
