Traveler: Season 1, Episode 4 "The Out" (F)
What continues to drag down this show is its lack of any decent characters. Both of the leads on the run are unenthusiastic, pessimistic but still naively optimistic, and just so darn dumb. They continue to stand out in the open together, barely disguising their appearances, and never taking an extra second to be secretive. The random guy following them keeps saving their asses without telling them anything, and the gimmick is just getting old. Steven Culp also portrays the token Stubborn Authority Figure, never willing to try to help the heroes out just because he wants to always be right. The epitomy of the lackluster nature of this show is summed up in a moment from the promo for next week's episode (minor spoiler alert): when Will utters the words "I am going to kill you" with the least convincing and pretty much complete absent anger and passion.
