AFT Television Awards!

The first official online AFT Television Awards will begin tomorrow, with a category or two being announced every day. I have been alloting awards dating back to the 2001-2002 TV season, but this is the first year that I am putting them online and really going in-depth to follow the Emmy race and select my own contenders. Categories include the regular, main categories which I predict, as well as an ensemble award and several other fun ones (including those chosen by the contest entrants!). Obviously my awards will be skewed towards shows that I watch, but that is to be expected and cannot really be helped. I try to be as fair as possible, and sample as many shows as I can. These awards will encompass the 2006-2007 TV season, beginning June 1, 2006 and stretching to May 31, 2007 but including the season finales of "Entourage", "The Riches", "The Shield", "The Sopranos", and burnoff episodes of "Studio 60", all of which aired in June. I do not choose performers or shows based on one episode alone, but to provide an accurate sample of the great work being done, I will list one episode that includes some great highlights. Links for the categories will be placed in the same menu as Emmy predictions.
