Raines: Season 1, Episode 7 "Closure" (B)
The final episode of the freshman season of "Raines" is nothing unusual. Staying true to the mood of the show thus far (I saw five episodes, missing only one), the kickoff death is dramatic and powerful, as is its recurrence throughout the episode. Raines makes a subtle discovery about the identity of the victim and a new aspect of his own personality, leading up to a solemn yet hopeful conclusion.
Season Grade: B
Renewed for next year??? To be announced. It could go either way, but I think it is looking like it will be renewed by NBC for a second season.
