The Shield: Season 6, Episode 2 "Baptism by Fire" (B+)
The characters on this show are so sharply written that each scene is a pleasure to watch. Claudette gets a chance to be furious and show her leadership abilities, Billings get another chance to be hilariously dumb and useless, and Kavannaugh shows his true colors and his honest but skewed nature. Walton Goggins continues to be great as the deeply conflicted Shane, and I am continually excited for the rest of the season (what will happen with Guardo??)
