I have not had the chance to watch all of the guest acting episodes, so I will simply list out my predictions for each of the categories. I am taking a chance with both Metcalf and Smart, for different reasons. Metcalf's episode choice, the season premiere over her amazing episode "Bang", seems a definitive and possibly dooming detractor. Nonetheless, my hope that "Ugly Betty" will not win Best Comedy Series leads me to also hope that neither Judith Light or Salma Hayek could win. As far as Smart goes, "24" really dove as far as numbers of nominations go, but I think the fact that Smart made it in is enough and that she may very well be able to overcome presumed frontrunner Kate Burton. Landau and Whitaker should be fine, but should watch out for competition is the form of Ian McKellen and John Goodman, respectively.
