What I'm Watching: The Shield

The Shield: Season 6, Episode 3 "Back to One" (B+)

"The Shield" excels at making character confrontations dramatic and very intense moments, and this exception is no exception. Vic and Guardo, with mediator Shane, creating a real sense of fear that something bad is going to happen. It is nice to see Ronnie taking the spotlight, since he is the most underdeveloped character on the show, and he was not even credited for the first few seasons. His interactions with Dutch and Billings are also fun to watch (Ronnie's superiority, Billings' amazement at his detective skills). A new member on the Strike Team should be interesting, and I am sure that is a great direction for the show to take.
