30 Rock: Season 1, Episode 20 "Cleveland" (B+)
Alas, the time for Liz's love life to blossom has not in fact come. Nonetheless, with the help of Tracy Morgan and the long-awaited (at least by me) return of Jane Krakowski, Tina Fey more than ably anchors a very good episode. The black mafia pursuing Tracy is hilarious, and Liz's enthusiasm for Cleveland is fun. Alec Baldwin, on the other hand, has had a more restricted role in some of the recent episodes and as a result is losing some of the effect which makes his performance so unforgettable. I hope that they will give him a more defined role in the week to come (next week is the first season finale). And just a reminder that "30 Rock" has already been renewed for a sophomore season, and will return to the schedule, barring any changements, in the fall.
