Big Sky: Season 2, Episode 4 “Gettin’ Right to It” (C+)
Well, at least everything is converging, or almost everything, with the exception of Wolf’s reform program. Ren did a decent job of deflecting suspicion by welcoming Cassie and Jerrie, though they really should have checked a bit more carefully given the questionable nature of her being out there by herself at night. Donno managed not to kill Tonya while he was hiding with her, and instead they hatched a plan to get her to say that Deputy Harvey was the one to take her. It’s a risky endeavor since he would be able to name and identify her, though presumably he’d be scared enough of incurring the wrath of the cartel that he wouldn’t talk. He’s busy executing his own operation, grabbing kids from their houses and telling them more than he should without realizing that everyone is about to get to his home at the same time. Travis got right to the top in terms of contacts and information, but it’s not clear yet if he’ll be able to help without breaking his cover. Jenny and Cassie have endured worse than being shot at, but it’s not guaranteed that anyone walks away from this woodsy encounter. Ronald is earning his rewards and private time with Scarlet, but he’s still trying to betray Wolf, which isn’t going to end well for either of them. While everyone else is busy dealing with a separate case or disobeying a superior’s orders, Denise should really be following up on this whole Legarski twin brother thing.
