The competition: Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, The Good Wife, Mad Men, and The Walking Dead
For your information: This is the first year that both “Boardwalk Empire” and “The Walking Dead” have been on the air. This is the first nomination for “The Good Wife,” which won a Globe last year for star Julianna Margulies. This is the third consecutive nomination for “Dexter,” and the fourth for “Mad Men,” which has gone undefeated with three wins out of three nominations.
Who should win: All terrific shows with terrific seasons. I’d be excited if any of them won.
Who will win: Someone is probably going to dethrone “Mad Men.” Will it be Boardwalk Empire or “The Walking Dead”? My money is on HBO’s juggernaut.
