What I'm Watching: Scrubs (Season Finale)

Scrubs: Season 6, Episodes 21 & 22 "My Rabbit & My Point of No Return" (C+)

After such a spectacular "Office" episode, it is too bad that this hour is not nearly as good. Everything has become tired, mostly the antics of Elliot and the annoyingness of J.D. In this episode, even the marriage-like relationship between J.D. and Turk became obnoxious. I would not necessarily say the "Scrubs" is "losing its magic", because there were certainly a few great episodes this season, most notably the musical episode and "My Road to Nowhere" (where the Janitor jumped out of the moving trailer). I think the main thing to be worked on for the show's seventh season next fall is new developments for the characters, rather than exponentional versions of the same one (Elliot is neurotic? No way!). Because after all, aren't we at the same point we were five years ago, when J.D. and Elliot are realizing perhaps they are right for each other? I am curious, though, to know what will happen there and if they will end up as a couple.
