Golden Globe Nominees: Best Actor in a TV Series – Comedy/Musical

My predictions: 4/5, missing Youssef
Who’s missing? Ted Danson (The Good Place), Don Cheadle (Black Monday), Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek)

This category wasn’t so difficult because a good number of last year’s nominees weren’t eligible, but there was still room for the best surprise of all: Ramy Youssef (Ramy). I was so happy to hear his name called for the underappreciated and completely worthwhile Hulu series. This category had room for two other new nominees: Paul Rudd (Living with Yourself) and Ben Platt (The Politician), choices I support. Rounding out the list are last year’s winner and a two-time Emmy champ, Michael Douglas (The Kominsky Method) and Bill Hader (Barry). This is a great list, even if Ted Danson isn’t here once again.

Who will win? I think Platt wins this.
