SAG Nominees: Best Male Actor in a Miniseries or Made-for-TV Movie

My predictions: 2/5, picking only Rylance and Kingsley
Who’s missing: Oscar Isaac (Show Me a Hero), Damian Lewis (Wolf Hall), David Oyelowo (Nightingale)

I think that my not having seen most of the contenders in this field had nothing to do with my poor score here. Along with “American Crime” and “Fargo,” which were considered drama series by this awards body, expect “Show Me a Hero” and “Nightingale” to greatly change the lineup of this category tomorrow when the Golden Globe nominations are announced. Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall), a double nominee, was a sure thing even though his supporting costar Lewis missed out, and I’m glad that I called Ben Kingsley as a very SAG nominee (their kind of pick). Both Bill Murray (A Very Murray Christmas) and Ray Liotta (Texas Rising) fall into that category, and this is the first nomination for television for double nominee Idris Elba (Luther).

Who could win? Probably Rylance.
