My predictions: 2/6, picking only one episode of “Silicon Valley” and “Transparent”
The nominees: Parents (Master of None), Daily Active Users (Silicon Valley), Founder Friendly (Silicon Valley), Man on the Land (Transparent), Kissing Your Sister (Veep), Morning After (Veep), Mother (Veep)
HBO did very, very well in this category. Both Silicon Valley and Veep saw all their submitted episodes nominated. “Morning After” is definitely the best of the “Veep” episodes and both “Silicon Valley” installments are pretty great. The Master of None episode was not my favorite, and it was before I really found the show to be compelling. The Transparent hour is a good choice, definitely an episode that’s hard to forget. Where are so many great installments that should have been here, like the opening episodes of “Casual,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” and “You, Me, Her”?
Who should win? The season premieres of either “Silicon Valley” or “Veep,” or “Transparent”
Who will win? I’m betting on Daily Active Users.
