My predictions: 3/6, missing Metcalf, Parker, and Preston
So in this list we have the three previous winners in this category: Margo Martindale (The Americans), Allison Janney (Masters of Sex), and Carrie Plimpton (The Good Wife). This is one of three acting nominations this year for Laurie Metcalf (Horace and Pete), and the third nomination in this category for Ellen Burstyn (House of Cards). Rounding out the list is Molly Parker (House of Cards), a welcome nominee who has done great work in the past on many shows and is finally being recognized for it.
Who should win? I haven’t seen a few of these nominees, so I’ll have to evaluate once I have.
Who will win? I think Burstyn takes it.
