B Positive: Season 2, Episode 12 “Dagobah, a Room and a Chimney Sweep” (B+)
That brand-new room did look pretty incredible, and Gina probably should have had an inkling that everyone would want to move in there and not just have it to be a false advertisement for what future residents might get when none of others looked like that. I do find it peculiar that Gabby would have known what lay ahead for Gina, but it does track that she might have once tried to put in minimal effort and seen the negative effects of even trying for just a moment. I enjoyed that Norma tried to bribe Jerry with the setup of a lifetime, which he apparently really needed, while Bette wanted Spencer to advocate for her since she could be his girlfriend, which he sort of did while still putting in a good word for himself. Having a group vote wasn’t the worst idea, and Bert being the one to do it so he couldn’t cheat since he didn’t know any of their real names was about as neutral as it gets. Ultimately deciding that it needed to go to Harry was sweet, though his quick closure of the windows indicates that he won’t appreciate its assets quite as much as everyone else who wanted the room. The last antics that Drew and Harry went through on the road were quite harrowing after Drew’s lackluster visit to the Grand Tetons was followed up by them getting stuck in a snowstorm. Fortunately they survived, and maybe Drew will take a pause on his new road warrior lifestyle.
