Emmy Nominees: Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

My predictions: 4/8

I was a little off here, though I’d argue that Tyler James Williams (Abbott Elementary) was a sizable surprise, and I didn’t think that enthusiasm for Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso) would carry through for him to be nominated alongside Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso) and defending champion Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso). I should have expected past winner Tony Shalhoub (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) to return without any trouble, joined by other previous nominees like Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), and past winner Henry Winkler (Barry). It’s a shame Paul W. Downs couldn’t make the cut for “Hacks.”

Who should win? I need to see Yang’s episode and Williams’ work, but I think I’d choose Carrigan.
Who will win? I suspect that Goldstein repeats.
