Emmy Nominees: Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie

My predictions: 1/6

This was my worst category. This “Hamilton” overenthusiasm is getting to be too much. Daveed Diggs (Hamilton), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), and Anthony Ramos (Hamilton) don’t need to be here after already contending at the Tonys (the first two) and Ramos should have been here for “In Treatment” instead. Missing are Golden Globe winner John Boyega, nominees Donald Sutherland and Brendan Gleeson, and SAG nominee Bill Camp. I am delighted to see Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Queen’s Gambit), and I’ve heard only excellent things about Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You) on a show I’m about to start watching. At least Evan Peters (Mare of Easttown) managed to get nominated.

Who should win? It’s hard to assess, since the “Hamilton” men were great – in their Broadway musical. For now, I’ll be Team Peters.
Who will win? I think Diggs probably wins.
