Emmy Nominees: Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

My predictions: 6/8, missing Clemons-Hopkins and Swift

This category snuck an extra nominee in! I couldn’t be happier for Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Hacks), a wholly unexpected and delightful choice who makes a great mark on his show. It’s good to see Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) included along with his castmates Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Brendan Hunt (Ted Lasso), and Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso). I’m also happy that Paul Reiser (The Kominsky Method) made the cut, and I’m ready to sit down for my annual SNL fix now that Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live) and Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) are officially nominated. I also correctly predicted that Michiel Huisman would miss the mark, while I did expect and hope that Alex Newell wouldn’t.

Who should win? Goldstein, Clemons-Hopkins, or Reiser
Who will win? I guess it could be Yang or likelier Goldstein provided voters are able to pick a favorite from their favorite show.
