Emmy Nominees: Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
My predictions: 4/6, picking Neil Patrick Harris and Nick Offerman over Cryer and Ferguson
I thought it might be feasible that all four adult “Modern Family” men - Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed O’Neill, and Eric Stonestreet - could be included, but if Neil Patrick Harris was going to be snubbed anyway, which is an enormous shock, couldn’t Nick Offerman from “Parks and Recreation” have at least had his spot? There’s no reason that Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) needs another nomination. His show should have been forgotten about long ago. Rounding out the list is Chris Colfer (Glee).
Who should win? Burrell
Who will win? While I would have loved to see a different “Modern Family” man win this each year, like “The West Wing” did a few years ago in the supporting drama race, I think vote-splitting and current energy will lead to a victory for Colfer.
